Hi, I'm Cuan, a Vancouver-based photographer. Whether it's street, studio, or somewhere in between, I like to embrace the chaos of the street with the careful calculation of the studio. My background in cinematic lighting and narrative fiction helps me make photos that inhabit more than three dimensions.

I love capturing images between the margins — the stuff most people walk past — because sometimes a story can be worth a thousand pictures, and other times it just takes one.
